Honestly, summer sucks.
Not the WHOLE thing (cabin party, vball tourney...)
Even worse, I dread going back to school.
Though I'd be scared out of my boots of studying abroad, it seems like that would be the best bet for me right now.
I'm sick of being the third wheel A L L  T H E  T I M E.
Is it just me, or is everyone basically married?
I have faith in Xanga to make a full recovery.
Alright.  That's all for me tonight.
Talk later,
Lys
(Gosh I haven't written that in a long time.  Feels good.)

Sad how things change.

Who knows what just got into me but I read some of my entries and now I feel the need to update you on my college life.  I'm assuming most of you already know about my adventures here at

but, in case you forgot, I'll tell them again.  Actually, there isn't too much to say.  But I'll try to entertain you for the next 4 minutes anyway.

I'm living here with Cair, and it's one crazy time after another.  She's just a ball of fun.  We also have 2 other members of our MROD family.  Cair's holding Aka, the hermit crab...I don't really like her.  But then I'm holding the adorable Buddy, our fish.  He's one handsome beta, let me tell you.

We LOVE to decorate our room.  Halloween it was covered in webs, Thanksgiving we had some cornucopias, and now Christmas is garland and lights.  It's cute.  If you feel any need to buy Xmas decorations and want to give them away, you know who to call!

Okay...I'm gonna be frank here.  College is way more difficult than I thought it would.  I'm taking classes now that I took in high school, and I was wrong to assume it'd be easy since I already learned it.  Nope....I'm really not doing as well as I would like.  So just to warn those not in college yet:  don't think it'll be easy.  It stinks.

I'm excited for Christmas break.  And Christmas.  And some of this. You?

And I'm done.  Hope that was satisfactory for you.

PS.  Katekate...I know you'll read this.  I never got a pic with you this past weekend.  I'm disappointed.

It's been awhile.

Yesterday was the last softball game of the season/forever for Mer/Mem.  And let me tell you...it was a good one.  We played with 8 people, but still managed to win 11-10 in the bottom of the 7th.  It was sooo incredibly great.  Next year is bar league.

I haven't done anything really exciting this summer.

I went camping for 4 days in Itasca with my soon-to-be school.  That was fun...met a lot of nice people and got to know some of the professors.  It was beautiful up there too.

WHOA!! FORGOT ABOUT THIS SOMEHOW...Roob and I went to ValleyFair out of nowhere.  That was going very well until I had a little accident.  I puked...all over the ground.  And I spewed on Roob's leg.  And it smelled really bad.  If you want to hear the full detailed story, I'm sure Roob would LOVE to tell you about it.  Gosh, that was fun.

Otherwise, I've been working.  Dairy Queen is the funnest job (unless 2 particular people are working).  I take advantage of the free ice cream a little too much though these days.

Annnnd, hanging out with friends, which is the best thing to do in the summer.  Unfortunately I haven't been seeing all the people that I want to see enough.  And school is gonna start soon.  So I need to get on that.

This summer has been GREAT so far.  But, I don't know...it feels like I'm missing something.  I'm pretty sure I know what it is too.

Well, that was my update of the summer thus far.  It's gonna be a hot one today folks, so I'm heading to the basement.

Hope all is going well for you all!!

Talk later,

Lys

I like pictures.  They are fun.  Here are some.

That was goodbye to Zippers.  Apparently I was the only one who really cared.

My bro's name and mine in the tower.

Me, HollyLa, Cair, G, and Becky obviously in front of the clock.

Summer's going.  Grad parties are fun times.  Softball is also going...my glove still sucks though.

I may update a little more in depth later on.

Talk later,

Lys
